Hello, I'm Maida
I’m Maida Majeed, a Toronto-based creative designer 👩🎨 and proud University of Waterloo alumna with a degree in Global Business and Digital Arts. My work spans branding, illustration, UX/UI design, and multimedia storytelling, with a passion for creating bold, memorable, and unconventional designs.
Known as "The Extra Gal," I embrace maximalism, infusing my extroverted personality into every project. For me, ✨extra✨ is about doing more, thinking bigger, and daring to be different. Whether through innovative mixed media or impactful storytelling, I believe going the extra mile transforms good work into exceptional work.
As the daughter of Pakistani 🇵🇰 immigrants, I’m inspired by the power of storytelling to connect cultures and spark conversations. I use my craft to make a lasting cultural impact, advocating for women’s empowerment, mental health, and social issues. I truly believe, "A story is what makes you memorable."
